I make 750 dollars an hour!

That is some extrapolation :)

But I did make 250 dollars in 20 minutes at NL 100 at Pacific Poker. I was bored before class and figured I will play a little bit before class today, so I sat down with 90 dollars at NL 100 at FISHY pacific poker.

I ran my stack up to 105 dollars before picking up AA, I raised to 4 dollars from early position, person right behind me reraised it to 12 dollars; MY EYE LIT UP, that was not even the best part, the button RERAISED 25 dollars more!! This was a no brainer, I pushed all-in and got called by both players, CREATING the biggest pot of my short cash game career, 315 dollars. AA against 2 ppl, while still a big favor, can be quite vulnerable sometimes, but in this case, I was up against KK and AKs (what a loose call), so my Aces held up and I dragged in the biggest pot of my life.

Two hands later, while I was still awed by the big pot I just dragged in, I got involved with AQ against the same 2 players (one guy still had 80 left, the other one had 23 left), flop came Q xx with two heart, I bet, got raised by the short stack, the 80 dollars guy cold-called, I call too (mistake, should've reraised here), but anyways, I checked the turn, short stack went all in for 13 dollars more, 80 dollars stack called, I only called.. By this time I am 99.9% positive that 80 dollars stack is on a flush draw, or maybe KQ, but I definitely have him beat, so this makes my calling on the turn a HUGE mistake, I gave him a cheap draw. On the river, flush draw is busted, the board looks harmless, I checked (inducing a bluff since I was sure that I had him beat).. BLUFF HE DID! He threw a 47 dollars river bet at me.. oh boy, I was hoping he'd bluff, but still 47 dollars is pretty convincing, but since I was so sure he was drawing, I chose to call.. HE SHOWED A BUSTED FLUSH DRAW.. except HE BACKDOORED a straight!! He picked up a gunshot draw on the turn and made that deceptive straight on the river.. Gah.. played that hand so badly and cost me 80 bucks..

But my ran of cards continues, I picked up a 50 dollars pot 2 hands later and my stack up around 280 again.. before picking up another AA!

Even crazier things happened this time, I was BB, UTG raised to 5 dollars, some guy reraised to 25, the guy right behind him CALLED! After a moment of disbelief I pushed all in, got called by the original raiser and reraiser (one guy had 40, the other had 60), my Aces held up again but this time I didnt get to find out what they had.

So my stack was nearing 400, before I dropped 50 dollars when I had to fold KK to a big 80 dollars turn raise by a very solid player with a big stack.. oh well.. the point is, I still made 250 dollars in 20 minutes! I love poker!

Besides this mini-session, I have been running OK, just trying to claim the 300 dollars bonus in TGC and made about 200 dollars on blackjack bonus last week.. breaking 3k for the new year.

-------------

School has been going OK, I am trying much harder since the last post, I have been doing homeworks more carefully and going to OH and stuff. I bombed my math midterm and redeemed myself in 131A midterm, I think I did well in MAE 182A midterm (I get to find out the score tom.) and EE 115B is only like the hardest class ever and I do not know what to expect..

The next 3 weeks will be focused more on school, school is priority right now and I can almost see the END!
