Spring Break almost over

Driving back to LA tom. in the morning.. I did absolutely nothing for spring break, slept till 12 PM everyday, did not ball or excercise.. did not play as much poker as I intended to.. yea, basically wasted 4 days :(

Well, it was not all that bad. I picked up my brothers from his spring break camp 4 days in a row, spent a day with Lian when she came over, and ate some good food.. watched a lot of TV.. Had a relaxing and lazy spring break which is how it is supposed to be.

I ordered a 512MB memory upgrade as well as a Radeon 9600 (dope) video card from newegg.com for a total of 143 dollars.. I guess it will make my computer faster and finally be able to handle resolution above 800x600! I am also getting a 19 inch-flat-panel monitor.. That is going to be HUGE, and I will have duel flat panel! Maybe Lian and I will not always fall asleep while watching movies at home from now on. This upgrade is costing me about 500 dollars.. Ouch :/

Good news is my spring break is not over yet, Lian got ticket to California Adventure for Saturday so I guess we will go ride some rollercoasters! I am not a big fan of rollercoaster and have this intrinsic fear that I will someday be like the unluckiest person to the victim of a rollercoaster accident.. yea, one of those seats come loose and I am history!

I had some amazing hot streak in this spring break, even though I have not played as many hours as I have time for. Of the time I am awake on average (14 hours), I only poker at most 1/4 of that, what I thought I was going to do was at least 6 hours a day.. so much for that thought. I guess this is like any other job for me, I get lazy. Despite all that, I had 3 days where every hand I flop is the nuts, I had one losing day on Wednesday when I only played 3 hours, 20 dollars winner in stars and 140 dollars losers in PR, all in one stupid hand where I made such a stupid play.. I was really mad at myself which is why I have not played NL since then. Limit worked out quite well for me today as I am up 300 dollars in 2.5 hours of play 2-tabling highspeed shorthanded 3/6 at stars.. So many fishes! Here is spring break result.
Partypoker : 400

Pokerroom: 250 (should've been 400 :( )
Pokerstars: 350 - still 100 FPP left for 120 dollars bonus.

So not a bad week of work even though I did not work that much, such hourly rate is insane but I know this short-term result does not mean anything since I have been running so hot.

Looking ahead to next quarter, I really need to do better. My GPA has taken such a big hit this year and I cannot further slide in Spring. It will be tough considering people are most likely to slack off in spring quarter but hopefully with only 2 engineering class and one lab, I will do better than I did this quarter.

Some goals for the new quarter:
1. GPA: 3.7
2. Work out 3 times a week
3. 5000 in Poker income
4. Make plans for summer
5. Boners all the way!
