Slow Month in Poker..

April has been a lazy month in poker, I have not claimed many bonuses simply because there aren't many in April, but slow and lazy does not mean less action..

In april I have grown accustomed to winning/losing pots around 600 dollars.. I tried not to think about the fact that it's a 600 dollars pot.. but rather .. well , it's just another pot.. but the fact remains.. before April, the biggest pot of my life was 300 dollars, I was jumping up and down over pots that are 200+ dollars; my session usually ends up a huge success if I have a couple of 200+ pots.. but now.. I experience a 500 dollars pot every hour or so.. it's quite a change I must say..

Fortunately I have came out on the better end of those big pots most of the time so far, even with drastically less bonuses this month, I still have hit a quite nice mark by today..

One disappointment this month is the fact that I have thrown away ~400 dollars in tournament buyin this month for big tournaments without a SINGLE cash.. that means.. I spent 400 dollars!!.. All the tourny I played are small ones.. less than 400 people.. so I must say I am very disappointed at my multi-table tournament skill and need to work on it..

One reason for my lack of interset in virtually all other limits/tournaments is the fact that their payoff is so much smaller than I would get in 2/4 NL, so it feels like I do not play as seriously and concentrate as much.. This is bad because for most bonus hunting I still have to grind it out in low limit game because I will not deposite enough to play at higher NL games.. so I must find a way to keep myself focused and playing my best no matter what limit I am playing.. I need to be a fearful opponent no matter what table I am at !

I had AA, he has AK suited. While this player is really really bad, I would never have had made all of his money if I didn't check the river masterfully :)
